The deathly struggle
Carved from what I think is Black Maire with the base white stone base from White Rocks in the Wairarapa, New Zealand.
This carving shows the struggle for the infant inside the womb that creates the post natal state of depression that occurs more and more in Mother's to be.
This sculpture measures approx 10 inches L by 3.5 inches H by 2 inches wide.

Sculpture certainly isn't my forte Darren, or something I have always fully appreciated, but to create something like this from carving stone and rock is amazing. It takes great skill and craftmanship with enormous artistic talent. So I very much take my hat off to you and give you a big vote from me:)
