Everything in the Palm of Your Hand

We live in a society where everyone wants to get as much of everything as they can get, but eventually, it is too much. The hand represents our greed and the strings that are tangled represent what we are trying to obtain. For the most part, we do not appreciate what we have fully and are constantly demanding more, and eventually we will lose it all, represented by the tangled string slipping through the fingers.

This was originally a pen drawing with water-colour for the yarn thats hanging between the fingers. I edited it on Photoshop.
