Hi Michele, an adorable little piece, perfect for Spring, the colours are so rich and the green foliage encases the little squirrel perfectly.  Beautifully painted Michele, 5*s and a nomination from me.  Don't worry about the dates as long as it's in the right month.  I would suggest that maybe you'd like to put it in the spring category!  Your painting skills are wonderful, a very talented lady:)

This is amazing as Rachel has conveyed,,.What i would give to be able to paint anywhere near this...This is as spring as you get here and talk about realism, this little guy seems as though he is looking right at the viewer, i was kinda expecting him, to blink his eye there for a minute. Michele you got my vote and some with this painting a beautiful piece of artwork, that would liven up any area of the house, that it was placed, although so realistic looking, i would not place it near a window, you just might have some real squirrels paying this portrait a visit, mistaking it for the real thing.....This is outstanding...Paintings don't get no better than this and wonderful detail at play throughout the entire painting.....
