Purple Bars

Purple Color Bars- I bought 3 yards of fabric (blue, purple, and brown) with each piece having 7 color graduations. I cut up and arranged the fabric into bars and then machine pieced it. I hand quilted lines, flowers, and hearts for this wall hanging. This was never one of my favorite quilts because it felt like cheating using the fabric already graduated from light to dark with no choosing on my part. 1994
