Su-7BMK Moujik free-flight glider pic.2
Another view of the Su-7BMK free-flight glider. Now with all of it's Indian Airforce markings and closed canopy. This light weight free flight glider, has now flown routine flights of over 100 feet in a horizontal direction (previous examples have reached average distances of 120-145 feet), a few feet off the ground and sometimes mere inches. It flies very fast and rock steady. Silent, it is hand thrown preferably into the wind and has fixed controls for flight. An adjustable tail rudder, elevators on the horizontal stabilizers in the back, inboard flaps for extra lift and outboard ailerons for roll and turning control. This hand made model aircraft also has four wing fences for added lateral stability and wing tip vortice minimization.
