i picked up the prints today.
it has been months since
i last saw your face.
i had almost forgotten
the last time you were in my bed.
you lay there
on your phone,
apathetically.
whomever you were texting
was far more engaging
than i ever was
to you.
i remember this lazy sunday.
you had already given up on us.
i knew the moment 
the shutter snapped,
that this was 
as good as it was going to get.
and now,
i'm left with 
the negatives.
