Poem -

dripping margarine

Dripping margarine
On dry potatoes
A poor man's feast
Hot...at least,

Money abundant
Amenities plenty
Everything purchased
A cupboard still empty

Glad it resonated Tony...no scrap that...I'm sorry it resonated Tony. I actually love or loved living alone, nowadays the cupboards may be full but my mind is still off searching ingredients that don't exist
thankyou my friend x

Being Me

Oh wow!  Empty cupboards are painful. They should be full. They would be if the gods did not snatch the inhabitants of these cupboards away.  Brilliant writing. From that first line

Dripping margarine
On dry potatoes

The intent of this poem is quite clear.

Hugs ❤ xx
