Room In The Roof

Room In The Roof

My atelier cast shafts of sunlight on a naked model,
when she would be finished, no one could ever tell,
her breasts were firm as I transported them to a canvas,
you could make love without a touch from either of us.

God said that his kingdom had many rooms up above,
each one of them had been appointed with care and love;
there were instructions, each one told: 'Get to your room,'
our position had been chosen, as soon as we left the womb.

There were tests in those rooms, needing some correction,
for all of those Earthly misdemeanours and insurrection,
if you passed, doors would be unlocked and you were forgiven,
if you failed, you would remain until admitting indiscretion.

The model eased herself off a sofa, beauty had not diminished,
then her curves stared back at me and finally it was finished.
