The First Day Of Summer: (2022)

It's early morning,
And these flowers are waiting
For the sun, as they
Slowly open their petals.
O perhaps, like we,
Who still perceive through a glass
Darkly, they're dreaming
Of a verdant genesis:
Longing for the first
Flash of Eden, as though
Time had just begun!
They're filled with expectation,
And as innocent,
As the white light they'll gently,
And calmly, imbibe;
Surely, all in God's good time.
