Stolen Time

Stolen Time

Looking at you
lying in bed
I believe our
Days, ours hours,
our time
Has repressed me

where is joy
When suffocation
of sorrow
Is predestined
To creep in

I guess it
Is the love
You and dad
Showed as
Teachers to living
that creates a sense
Of meaning

Better than solo
Yet a deliverer to remorse

Your showtime
I am realizing
has passed

Mine has gone
through the
Midway mark

the angels
are purring
in anticipation
Where do
We go
From here
