Frazelle

In Loving Memory of My Mom

Frazelle

Her belief in me
guards the foals
of spring

Her prayers
from long ago
breathes hope
as I awake

It has been nearly
a year
since you entered
the pearly gates

Yet everyday
I am forever
grateful
for you

I continue to
get up
I move forward
determined
to be better
then the day before

Falling
is only
an opportunity
to see a new
a way to
soar

Mom
I will get
it right

I am not
done yet
