Poem -

if I know of stars

if I know of stars
do the stars know of me
do gods peep through star
patterned holes in the sky

tis often in silence from under
black trees
a statues, in ripples, of fear,
I freeze

I stare back at star patterned
holes in the sky
searching for gods and
malevolent eyes
connections are real, all round in
the air
the world is dead quietΒ
it dreams without care

so why do I sit in the black velvet
night
feeling a feeling that things
are not right
on guard against gods and their
fearsome might
hoping they'll stay

behind stars

out of sight
