Summer grass

The sun is shiningĀ
The birds are Singing
And the smell of fresh
Cut grass on a summer
Day summer grass

As the tall summer grass
Sways in the wind as I
Lay in the tall grass
I looked up at the sky
I can hear children
Playing hide and seek
I peek at them in the
Tall Grass
Summer grass

The sky is blue
The sun is bright
I am sitting in the
Park on fresh cut
Grass Having fun
In the sun listening
To a lark I hear a dog bark
Watching people walk by
People eating picnic Lunches
All on summer grass.

I remember dear Greg, the summer grass in the USA, such a joyful read, people enjoying the day, the grass here in Europe is different, it's not so full as that of the USA, I remember the first time I saw the grass it was double the size. Lovely imagery and a smile from your reader. 🌹
