A year ago today

Sent a DM of a poem I wrote to a girl.
Got blocked, never much liked her, then.

Tried my luck at making friends.

None were interested.

Fed the butcher birds, Jenny and Bert.

Now I'm feeding their chicks,

Hughie, Dewi and Lewie.

They're cute as can be, their feathers are fluffy.
