Poem -

BEHOLD MY LOVE

A man in love

BEHOLD MY LOVE

Shatter the face of the mirror
It is a reflection that deceives
Let the sunlight alone judge her beauty
She is like a heavenly view of Autumn leaves.

Silence the breath of the wind
Disregard the steady humming it sings
As honey is sweet, so her voice satisfies
A woman of majesty, the sum of my life.

Gaze not at the clusters of stars in the night
Waste no thought of their distant light
Look into the eyes of love in human form
Behold my Sandra, behold my love.

Wilford Barker.
