2024

Ever see the postmanĀ
And realise you'll never againĀ

Get a parcel from someoneĀ

Who's died and once loved you,

Ā

Like a Nana, or womanĀ

You once used to know?

Ever wish you weren't were you were

Or that the food you ate

Tasted better?

Ā

Drive a car you wish was faster?

I bet there's not wishful thinkingĀ

Enough on the planet to makeĀ

Every dream of yours come real.

Ā

That you feel enough to remind you.
Ā

Keep the ones already given and remember with a warm heart, your first stanza has so much truth, imagery and emotion. 🌹 šŸŽĀ

Thanks for feedback SH. It's true some of mine have more heart in them than others. Some are just to remind people I'm here. And to look at the older stuff, I try to get as much life out of them as possible. I'm running on fumesĀ

This is quite poignant in that ... the answer is resoundingly yes. Yes yes yes to it all R.Ā
If these are fumes... keep em coming!
Have a fabulous Christmas XĀ
