For freedom and pride, their sacrifice 
Never to be forgotten, the lives that they gave 
We should never forget, the selfless brave 

Now overgrown reminders of the bloodstained battlefield 
A tourist attraction or a pilgrimage, to pay tribute to the slaughterous yeald

The subject is everlasting 
The selfless sacrifice 
The ancestors of once occupied countries, tend to the fallen’s graves, to keep them nice

These heroes that we boast
