Stitches pt.1

What made it love
Was that time was finite.

You were the prize I'd find

On my treasure hunt.

I wasn't much for going out.

Most of my days spent housebound.

But I sort after you,

As a lonely boy will do.

You were the matter in all

Things physical.

The spiritual in teachings

Of our world.

It was because of you

Light had entered the world.

Because of you night drew

Ever closer to arriving

With it's belly full.

So after you I returned to the darkness

To ever think of you

In my solitude.
