Stitches pt.2

My fortress was damp,
Mould grew.

The light outside the curtains

Did not shine through.

And I became idle,

A still image of myself.

Time didn't anymore feel

Finite. Instead I heard

It stretch out to infinity

Where reality confronts the microcosms.

I near exploded with the grief

Of forever without you.

So I did away with love.

Did away with it all together.

I learned peace in the stillness.

Meditations in the mundane.

And I would play

With my pen and notebook

Till time looked back

And sowed the heart in again.

As a show it was ever broken

Only the stitches that keep

It in place remain.

Very, very good write. And there is nothing wrong with a little cliche,
specially when it is super well written.   B

As for this, well, didn't I feel it was too
Confessional. I'm more happy with it now
Than when it was fresh

Nothing written is confessional Rory unless we state it to be. That's the utter beauty of writing... we can chose each narrator, from truth lies imagination observations ... whatever.
I think that's the biggest mistake people make when reading is to believe the write is always factual....
