Death     When it came was

the wrong colour

wrong flowers  wrong coffin
wrong prayers and wrong people
Unfamiliar the hymns the
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Wrong church with wrong steeple

wrong hats with wrong feathers
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wrong eyes filled with care and

I had the wrong thought that
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I should not be there.

You absolutely had the right thought, you always bring me back to my own day of last goodbyes, sad as they were, I truly wanted to open the boxes and take them home, that's true life emotions. Kudos on this one. 🌹
