Thanks Marion .. I'm keeping my fingers crossed all the antibiotics will have therapeutic value .. I still have almost a week to go but would cancel if necessary becuz I don't fancy getting stuffed for crazy bills or my insurance being invalid xx

My word, it's so bloomin good to hear from you Shaun .. it has been such a long time .. I must confess, I had begun to think you may have forsaken me ..
I sincerely hope you and yours are all well and that life is treating you kindly .. At the moment, I am signed off sick with pneumonia but am determined to get better sharpish as I am hoping to get away for a few weeks (again on doctors orders) .. I will probably share the whole story with you one day .. You have been greatly missed here at Cosmo and I am sure by many others besides my miserable self ..
I have not been away, by the way, as mentioned by our lovely Marion, I have just not been too great of late but am heading in the write direction at last .. and just between you n me .. three means exactly 3 and I am not hankering for a number 4 ..
I kind of lost track of the number of my books you so kindly bought but may I respectfully ask you to go check my messages to you .. The last one wasn't responded to .. There's not enough room in this largish rectangle for me to adequately explain how glad I truly am that YOU are back mate .. You were greatly missed .. and if I'm either rambling or repeating myself, (or both) forgive me but it's either a sign of my genuine concern for your wellbeing or a symptom of my current pneumonia .. Actually, I'm pretty sure it is both ..
Still, thanks for the update and reassurance that you are back on track and that life is now being kind, generous and good even .. Had it not been, I swear I would have tried to undertake a little embu this evening (with your name on it (when my significant other goes out to get her hair done) .. She's presently watching me like a hawk which is why I tried to be clever and suggest her locks are looking a tad limp and reminded her that if all goes well, we should be setting off for South America via Miami next week .. I Just knew she would book herself an appointment and free me up for an hour or two .. Bloomin heck .. type about ramble ..

Bless you. I had pneumonia once, when I was a youngster. It kept me off school for a month and I was still wheezing when I went back. And my youngest grandaughter was hospitalised with it at 15 months old. It's a nasty thing and I really do wish you well very soon. Completely well. Take care and take things easy xx
