Walk

Footsteps are not everything
Faces can be fake
Towns appear like ghosts in rain
Not every scene is sane
crows hop pavements
Maliciously lush
Demanding no ransom to where I
walk
they have no need
Of the shadows I leave
The streetlights
Of my muttered talk
Not every child is peaceful
Not every home is warm
Not every storm can rage enough
To ravage the forlone
I am looking for christmas
Seeking again
Ghosts hop pavements
Maliciously lush
not every eye is sane

Crow hops pavements.
Yes I can see, they do just that.
Then, crow turns into something more symbolic?
Marion there is a real beat to this and in what is has to say.
One of those poems that bounces, hops, steps, jumps, to bring the message home.
It has a real sense of directness, is what I'm trying to say:-
Cut to chase no bullshit!
Superbly done and see it for what it is and full honors for I haven't read one like this, that beats and beats good for yonks.
Hugs at you my dear friend... and more Hugs :)

Strong write with a firm grip. And yes, not every eye is sane...
What a great finish, Marion. B
