Poem -

that old moon

should treat the moon like an old
friend
didn't need to be told
you can tell that old moon
anything
when she's huge and rich and gold
she don't talk back
and that's a fact
just holds her place up there
silent in the black night
but she hears, she does, I swear,

I like moon poems. Gold,
Why didn't I think of that!

Ohh Marion love how this is written and that old friend moon, just listens and is one perhaps for keeping secrets.
Nicely done my celestial observing friend and it's a full moon outside now in a cloudless sky and the air is crisp and cold.
In fact the air outside is bloody freezing!!!
So Hugs and extra, extra warm toastie Hugs for you :)

There is something about that distant soft glow of the moon filling the nights sky.
It draws one’s attention away from earth’s surface,
and rap you in its mysteries.
‘Thank you for sharing Marion.
