Loneliness Fades when Clouds Vanish

The vessel navigates alone
from the day he was born
till the hours of a new dawn,
And alone he Is in thoughts,
from the dark hours of the soul
till the early morn’ call.
But when night descends giving way
to a day anew and afresh,
The hours become powerful
and loneliness is left behind.
The vessel, once alone,
is now in the company of light.

Many lonely souls sail on in love and faith always. Lovely Poetry. 🔥

Thank you John, your words are always very much
appreciated.

Bernie, you really see the beating heart of my poem. And I can
honestly say that you have the ability to see the heart of every poem you read. Cheers.
Bernadete
What would be the first stanza if you hadn't made it not so is perfect. I think you know what I mean. The finish, too. B
I do know what you mean, Rory.
You always speak in a subtle way,
and I understand it. I like that!
I very much appreciate you sharing your thoughts. B
P.S. You said more than my poem deserves.
We are alone... each one of us alone in our own brains and body's spending a lifetime reaching out, trying to connect. There is a school of thought that says death releases our consciousness from the body... maybe its physical death that finally connects us all. Great read B as always X
My wife found this on the internet half a year or so ago: "It is not fair we laugh together, but cry alone". Yet this is what happens every night and every day over and over again... Well put, ❤️
Bernadette how well you put it once again
For we are said vessel journeying forward living, loving in life.
Through good and bad on a sea of mixed emotions, for some find a quiet harbour, while others are caught in a riptide.
Then become dust, stardust to shine again with reborn others.
Will be making time to read more tomorrow Bernadette.
In the meantime Nos da and thank you for a positive poem and a respected one of light.
