Goth poetry "She was just a dream" (c) 2016 Picture not mine.

With her finger to lips, she looked right at me.
Ensnared in her eyes, as green as could be.
I never saw beauty, until I saw her.
Lost in a moment, as time was a blur.
I kissed her so deeply, she looked in my eyes.
I felt that I loved her, but it was not wise.
I knew that right then, she'd never be mine.
The dream fell away, I woke back in time.
She was just a dream, that's all that she'll be.
She was just a dream, that I'll never see.
