A woman had run into a nearby forest from her home.

Tearful and grief stricken. She screamed as loudly as she could. She had wanted to for so long. And she didn't want anyone to hear her.

She wanted to be alone. And just be free in her thoughts, if only for a little while.

She had been consumed in such a deep sadness for so long. And she had pushed everyone away that she possibly could. But still she could find no rest from the constant questions. The constant pep talks, which just didn't matter to her anymore.

It was all very well for them to tell her to be strong when she had exhausted all her strength.

She ran now more with determination. Hoping that nobody would follow. Hoping nobody would ask her why she was being so impulsive or irrational.

The only irrational thing to her was where her life had led her. With heartbreak and absolute loneliness.

She found a clearing of soft inviting clover. And felt the need to lie within it. Perhaps the energies of the Earth would heal her. Nothing else seemed to. Nothing. It seemed only logical to connect with nature somehow. So she let herself fall within it, and it seemed to catch her like a soft pillow.

She wanted to just close her eyes and rest but the tears continued to stream down her face. She just wanted to surrender and let her spirit free.

The forest seemed alive as it grew around her, and the plants comforted her wrapping her in their soft embrace. Blanketing her with care and shelter, warmth and concern. She was safe now, as she slept finally.
