The hand that reaches out between worlds ( The illusion and reality )

I once had a dream about an unknown man knocking on my door, he didn't say anything, nor could I see his face.
All he did was reach out his hand. 
A hand that at the time when I had everything I needed and felt happy I could only see as pity or a feeling like he was trying to take something from me, so I slammed the door right at his face.
Yet he came back multiple times with the same gesture, but yet he never said one word... and no matter the amounts I closed the door, said he had to go or how many times I refused his offer he still came back.
The weirdest thing was that his appearance never changed, nor his attitude or his shape and form... he never even changed tune, but just stood there waiting.
I started to become angry, scared and finaly so sad that at a particular moment in my life I decided to accept his offer, but he never came back all of a sudden.
As I'm standing watching and waiting for his very return since the last time he ever showed up.

Afterwards I understood the dream... who he was and what he wanted. 
He was myself trying to save me from a world I created that wasn't real and dying at a rapidly phase, a made up world build up on lies and fake truths, a world filled with demons that I also created, thinking I could handle them, but being to overconfident.
