Abductee

Abductee

The house itself, was full of mysteries and more

Due to being miles away from society, standing on its own

Allowing me to be another hostage

locked within a gated door

Leaving me to wander and explore

I was forced to live in a room

Full of sadness and hunger

Felt through the air

Even though there was no draft or broken windows

Making it feel like it was invincible

But my loved ones disagreed

Telling me, " You're the issue honey"

Diagnosing me with a nervous disability

Forcing me to take Phosphate to allow it to slowly

Relieve all the negativity

Although, it captivated my life

Making it sprawl out of the patterned wall

Forcing me to be more emotionless and dull

Almost mentally deranged

But some would say, you're just insane.

Hi Natalia,

Your powerful poem "Abducted" me from the first line.  This prisoner chained to a life of abstinence and moroseity.  Force fed phosphate that steals her from reality.  They say she is mad.  We all pray for her imminent rescue, that she may return to the outside world that misses her so.  Great write.  Welcome to Cosmo.

Peace and Love,

xox Larry
