No tears

I’m reading inspirational quotes
finally ready to accept 
that all the hurt
and all the feelings
cone from my inner depth.

I can feel the tear forming
slowly slipping at the edge 
am I ready to let go
of my years long pledge?

Accepting with all my heart
but not ready to forget
tear slipped down
there’s nothing to regret.

I wipe my face
but there was no tears
nothing
even after all those years.
