Hello Sparrow Song I just happened to come across this little piece of writing & felt compelled to vote & comment because despite being thousands of miles right now geographically from the place you call home & genuinely don't understand what you wrote the way you do but it still resonates strongly with me as the colour blue & I have a an affinity for each other it stands alone as my favourite colour if I were to choose one. I know the blue you're referring to as the traditional colour of a political party over there. I'm in Australia and both of our major parties have red and blue too so there you go.
