Montana skies

Montana skies

I was walking under Montana skies
I saw grassy plains where
The Buffalo roam at home
To wild horses that run free in the wind along the Missouri river
Where I walk under Montana skies

I stand here in the grassy plains
Under the Montana skies
And looked at the land of
The shining Mountains
Listening to a meadowlark
In the park and a butterfly
Lands on the flower morning
cloak as an eagle sits
In the Ponderosa pines
Where I feel fine under
Montana skies

And under Montana skies
Along the rivers and streams
In Yellowstone, running along
Is a grizzly bear without any care
trying to catch a trout and no doubt
He will all under Montana skies.

Greg apologies for missing this and making amends now.
You are clearly at one with the landscape with words of colour painting a rich poem.
Something good with that is seldom seen today, a much needed feeling of calm also.
The U.K could use your Montana skies here and now.
Thanks for sharing Greg and a great picture also :)
