Poem -

Always second best

Time dissipated into the night
Love thinning fast in the fight

Hopes of a mirror image
This story nearly finished

Never acing your test
Always being second best

Mothers swooping in

                                        Toast

My second glass of gin

Sipping all my fears
no one ever hears

Slowing fading in the distance
No more immature resistance

Maybe one day you'll see
Everything I can be

But now I'm locked away
So you don't have to stay

Your mom has open arms
She beat me with her charms
Every action sounds alarms ,
Forever causing harm

Being Me

Love you poem but I just want to say, you are NOT second best, you are just too good for him. As for the test? You were just practising x
