Poem -

Alone.

A sea of sand.
Christ what a torturous land.
My skin the sun does burn.
For shelter i have nowhere to turn.
A desert of death.
Dry air chokes my breath.
How did i end up here.
I wish i could quench my thirst with a cold glass of beer.
But nothing only me and sand i see.
Nothing not even a shaded tree.
My mind confused.
My body by the hot sun abused.
No more i can take.
The torturous sun my body does bake.
I died not knowing what brought me to this sea of sand.
Died all alone in this inhospitable desert land.

Hi William, this is a really great piece, quite thought provoking in its sadness...such a dry barron place..
thanks
