Poem -

Picture This.

I look in the mirror.
And don’t like what i see.
The image looking back.
Doesn't resemble me.
It looks grey and old.
With eyes that look distant and winter cold.
A wrinkled complexion.
With it i have no soulful connection.
I give the mirror a cleaning wipe.
But still my image looks old and ripe.
The mirror i take down from the bathroom wall.
And replace it with a picture of me when i was young and tall.
Now every time i look into it.
It makes my mind behave young and fit.
Mirror picture on the wall.
Who is the youngest of them all.
