carry

carry

And along the way, we’ll meet a thousand faces, maybe more.
Some might come closer than the rest,
but only a few—perhaps fewer than that—
will truly understand the quiet language of your heart.

And as you walk, it’s important to stay young,
to forgive, let go of yesterday's heavy hands.
Keep only the memories that make you feel alive.

We carry so much weight,
the baggage of fractured dreams, words unsaid,
and separations left behind like footprints in the sand.
Why not lighten the load?
Take only what fits in a backpack.

And when, someday, you find someone
who understands the way your soul moves,
don’t forget how vital it is—
to forgive, to forget, and to love freely.
