some fabulous place

all my dark holds a place
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
that transcends death and birth
a place all our own outside
heaven and earth and
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

out there on our moon nights
and star nights we stand
still mother and son despite
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
god's last command
and in these times I try hard
to push down the pain
to seek reassurance
we will be again
present together forever each day
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

in some fabulous place
where we both get to stay
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and untill then tell god
that the motherly love
is more potent by far than
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
his force from above
you are my son not his son
our souls are conjoined
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
we can never be parted
tell god            he's not won
~~~~~            ~~~~~~~~~

Nothing, nothing compares to mother’s love. Not even god
could love our children more.
Sending you all my love, Marion.

Having lost your beautiful son nothing will ever be the same, nothing will ever taste the same, nor will it look the same, you are one brave lady to bring so much emotion to your reflections and share with the world, because they are yours and no one can ever understand as much as you how you feel, you are not alone as you know, I got goosebumps by the end. Write your heart,  it's soothing to know that my own mother wasn't alone either, and if she was alive today I would have found a way for you to know eachother darling Marion... Kudos. Some fabulous place yes, 💜

Being Me

A truly beautiful poem. I believe those that we love and have passed on, remain with us. In certain places we can actually feel their presence xx
