Poem -

Worn woman

Wouldn't dare wear around
Gold in your town.

Swear I'd loose a favourite lyric

To my greatest inspiration.

Something always borrowed

Returns a little bit more worn.

You never hear talk

About how square shoulders

Accentuate the neck of a

Woman.

Hearts not easily dimmed by the reality

Of the work undertaken.

Brains-in-jars out of body

Experiences.

And as you do you say this perfectly with style and grace,

Something always borrowed
Returns a little bit more worn.

How very true and inspiring. 🌹

I think I kinda like the following line.

It could mean strength is attributed
To men and not women

But it's the strength that defines the beauty
