Before I Ever Became Me

From my Raven Collection

Before I Ever Became Me

I was oblivious to where
I was being driven
but I was being driven
through all the darkest places
of my life, a life I'd lived
before today
before I'd ever learned
how to live well...

and before I became me.

I've probably been me for a thousand years dear Rory, I just didn't know it.  Thank you dear friend. 🌹

I was so much older then. I'm younger than that now. Bob Dylan.
