An Extraordinary Journey

An Extraordinary Journey

And so
eventually I dived in...

Into my own soul
at first I felt lost
but after a while
with a few twists and turns
and admittedly, even a few U-turns
I eventually...

found me.

Devils advocate, somehow I think we all have still a lone way to go. The U-turn made me laugh. Once I was told a metaphor that was so simple I feel today. Life's like a car, you just got keep it from going off the road. I believe this is doable.

That's a wonderful metaphor dear Rory, and most true. Thank you. 🌹

I agree with Rory, once the car got off the road (too early on) it took 65 years to get back on track with all the bumps, rocks and blocks to get past. Perhaps I should not have broken the rear view mirror so I might have gotten there quicker with a few U-turns. Soul searching can be fun and really rewarding, every tear can become a poem... ❤️

Well, after the hard times at the office the past few weeks I needed to wander a bit, stray down roads one all too rarely takes😊

Love for one's self yes, we all have to delve into the unknown to find our souls at some point, I'm sure you already have dear B.S with what you have been through. 🌹 Thank you dear poet.

That image reminds me of the tunnel of light that near death experiencers describe. Ultimately... words of acceptance and wonderfully written x

What a beautiful insight, thank you so much dear Marion, I find sometimes living abroad that I seem to forget me, but I soon rewind to remember, and I once again find my gumption and self. Thank you so much for coming by to leave your gorgeous words. 🌹
