Scientific Mind

Scientific Mind

A beautiful old lady
Stopped me on the street today
She asked me if I believed in God?

I replied...

Signora, I cannot pretend
to believe in anyone
I have never met.

Wonderful... witty realism here Shirley
I often wonder if we grew in places that had no religions and no knowledge of any kind of religion ( far off desert island that had never been civilised) ...would we even concieve of any idea of gods. Though I suppose that question has already been answered down the ages ...sun worship and idol worship... still how many of those civilisations were indoctrinated from birth?? Damn...now you've made my mind spin with questions 😄😃 x

Thank you so much, she was a super sweet lady, i did stand and smile as she asked me, she wasn't offended because I said we should all choose what we believe and live in peace. I love my time when I meet those who inspire me to think. 🤣 Happy Saturday dear friend. 🌹
