The Paradox of Being

I am the candle that lights,
and the light that goes out
I am the infinity of the stars,
and the darkness of the night
I am love,
and I am the fear of loveÂ
I am the breath of life,
and the lifeâs last respireÂ
I am the summit of a mountain,
and the edge of the abyssÂ
I am the eyes of a child,
and the blindness of a blind man
I am righteous,
and I am the wrong way signÂ
I am made of earth and fire,
and water and air I amÂ
I am the rose,
and the hurt of the thornÂ
I am the beginning,
and I am the end.

For me, your words describe the very essence of human experience. We delight and we suffer... one does not come without the other. Lovely B x
Hey B .. I Just couldn't leave this page without first awarding these words of yours the fullest of marks I am permitted to pin upon them .. Your finest yet, in my opinion .. NevilleÂ

Cheers,
