WHAT REALLY MATTERS

WHAT REALLY MATTERS

Try not to think too much about anything,
Your few breaths of life,
They are worth more than hypotension.

Scale the fences, run nonstop,
Take a chance in a den of lions
Rather than give ear to opinions.

Being rude is not a mistake
But the color of one’s heart,
And from the abundance of the heart
The tongue and actions declare
Its intent.

Who can harness the wind
In the palm of their hands,
Or tell the place of its origin,
No one has all the correct answers
About life.

What really matters is kindness and compassion
Love and truth,
Like a boomerang, it will return to you full circle.

Seek someone out to encourage every day of your life,
For encouragement is a Highway
That leads to springs of joy and happiness.

Start from where you are.

Wilford Barker.
