ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL POEM

I can hear you now, let’s see, if this is true 
As you pause your doings and scroll through 
Your mind is alert, eyes scanning every line 
But you are not intrigued, it’s just a waste of time 

You try really hard to pull yourself away 
But you're judgmental curiosity whispers 
I am eager to hear what he has to say

Then all of a sudden, something catches your eye
The line that declares the poet’s thought of your life

I love to sit in my recliner with a glass of lemonade 
Armed with my iPod, sunlight on the windowpane 
Carefully reading every Cosmofunnel post
From the hosts of writers whose gifts and talents 
Plasters the world billboards.

What a magnificent group of people 
From every walk of life 
Taking time out to encourage others with rhythm and rhymes 
Painting pictures that comfort the heart 
The writers of the Cosmos are super talented and smart

So continue to shine in your own way 
Expressing yourself on the Cosmos pages
Whether your work is pinned or liked, do not depart 
I see it as another beautiful poem 
That flows from your heart.
