11 Poem Writing Styles And A Dog's Dinner
I'm pretty fortunate sometimes,
When it comes to writing poetry.
I can write in eleven poem writing styles,
And they are...
1. Crap.
2. Short.
3. Short and punchy.
4. Short and punchy and crap.
5. Medium.
6. Medium and crap.
7. Long.
8. Long-winded.
9. Long-winded truly epic crap.
10. My, who the bloody hell am I kidding poem style.(also crap)
And last but not least,
11. My dog's dinner of a poem style.
I often write in my dog's dinner of a poem style,
Which any sensible, classy, poetry reading, clever canine,
Wouldn't dare sniff at.
Let alone read.
Even after being poetry starved for two weeks.
And I don't care how educated, devilishly smart,
Or snobbishly poetry refined,
Old smarty pants Fido thinks he is,
He still barks at the bloody moon!

I must agree with Marion Shaun. I also believe in free expression. Poetry is whatever you make it to be. Rules are made to be broken. After all to start with their couldnât of been any rules. Poetic license comes with a multitude of variables and possibilities. I love reading your work đ€

Oh Shaun... I hope I haven't been a part / addition to your tough times... I'm so sorry my friend. I know we all require support on the Cosmo and excuses be excuses, I dont always give back what I put in... I just wanted to say you are an absolutely fantastic writer. I always admire your action packed reads, keeping me on the edge of my seat. Really I'm wishing you calm waters, or at least a fraction of peace. Here for you Shaun, although I'm not the most reliable...

my favourite is the
"Long-winded truly epic crap".
This peice in particular made me really consider the potential of such work.
As for the clever canine, he sounds like a master woofer with excellent literary prowess, or (growless maybe) could I get his paw print please and a recording of him barking at the moon?
......I really did enjoy this, poetry to me is anything that has depth or meaning. subliminal or just in your face brazenlyÂ

I don't take myself seriously but only sometimes in what is written and what is sometimes written between the lines.
