1300 Miles

1300 Miles

I knew this year would be better than last. Those months joins the list of "over it". This one helped me to feel independence and memory. Waiting to make a change, I couldn't sit. Spent time realising I needed to stop being lazy. Packed my car and drove 1300 miles. One of many who couldn't afford average life. Proud of my choice has me learning new smiles. Spent the beginning of my journey convinced. I was embarking on the craziest thing I have ever done. Now that I am figuring out things as I go. Earning more respect, I feel I have won. Time will continue, I hope for that. Missing my usual friends and family isn't so bad. Being far away from familiar sounds and noises. Having more time to relax, has not driven me mad.
