2021-2022🙏

Farewell 2021, as we will welcome another new year

Counting down the seconds with our loved ones so dear

Singing Auld Lang syne,  chuckling with cheer

Chinking glasses at twelve o clock midnight, drinking wine, champagne and beer

Goodness knows what 2022 will bring us, coz nobody has a crystal ball

But if this was the year that put an end to Covid, well wouldn’t that be best of all

When each and every person in the whole wide world, be them adult or only small

Would be over the moon and get back to normality, having an absolute ball 

Doing what we used to do as soon as spring has sprung

Booking breakaways across the seas abroad, to foreign countries far flung

Oh how I hope within my heart, and especially for all of our old and young

That this pandemic from the previous last two years, will be banished with a bung…
