24 Hours with You

24 Hours with You

Feeling the breeze flow through me

As I look in his eyes

Blue and beautiful,

The expanse of his soul,

Fills the horizon of my view,

Like a moonlit sky,

Where the only light

Comes from midnight conversation, voices standing out in the pitch black.

Sunrise comes too soon,

Our time together draws to a close,

The light filters through

the curtain,

Like water overflowing

the peaceful abyss

The Blue Lagoon.

When he touches my

Face,

The small of my

Back,

I feel a distinct connection,

To something bigger than him,

Bigger than the space his body consumes even in all his masculine grandeur.

Suddenly I'm aware of my breathing,

The soft up and down,

The space getting smaller and bigger

between Us,

The silence growing again...

And the moon comes back, drawing with it a dark canvas with which we paint the next 24 Hours.
