2nd class citizens

2nd class citizens

They were not
invited
in Portland
or Seattle

In fact they
were
told
to stay
out

but when
the very
politicians
who scoffed
at them
interfering
during those
insurrections
became afraid
at the capitol
the troops
were ordered
to come

When they
came
they were
used
as political
pawns
and when the
inauguration
was
over
sent
to the parking
garage
to sleep

2nd class citizens
