57 YEARS AGO TODAY

It was 57 years ago today when we were first wed

You had the prettiest hair on the prettiest head

I fell in love with you at first sight

I wanted to be with you every night 

Throughout our ups and downs we are still together 

You still smart and me still being clever

Its been lovely to know you my dearest Grace

To admire your personality and worship that beautiful face

And so dear Grace our life is near its end 

My darling wife my sweetest friend 

When its time for us to depart and go

I count my blessings to have loved you so
