6 feet below

6 feet below ground is where you lay
Along with my heart where it breaks each day
6 feet below ground is where you stay
And 6 feet above is where I sit and wait
Where I wish for you back just for 1 last day
Just for 1 more hug and 1 more date
6feet above is where o sit alone
With no one to text or no one to phone

6 feet below is where you lay
As your body slowly wastes away
Where you lie, all alone
Where your once lovely body becomes a box of bones
Down there is where you stay and lay cold
And now without you, I have to grow old.

It’s not fair you get an eternal sleep
While all of us up here get to eternally weep
It’s mot fair you get a palace of clouds
While we wait for you here on the ground
You get a short cut while we have to march
Down this horrible, dark and twisted path
You promised me we would always stay together
And now you’ve gone and left me forever
